Small note on polyester coats

Our coa texteriors are made of polyester, a material that is machine washable but that may require some extra effort to keep it looking nicer for longer. Our little tricks can help you get rid of some everyday stains, but unfortunately, we can not guarantee their success.

Food Stains 🍅

Junior dropped his snack? No problem!

1. Spread the coat on a flat surface.
2. Prepare a half white vinegar half water solution, fill a bottle with a spray tip. Spray the stain, let it stand 3-5 minutes, then spray again.
3. Pat dry with a cloth. If the stain starts to dissipate, wash your coat in warm water with your normal detergent.
4. If the stain remains, fill a large pot with water at room temperature and a little dish soap. Add a half cup of vinegar. Soak 30-60 minutes before washing normally.

Blood Stains

Accidents happen! Whether it’s a scratch or a nosebleed, use this little trick to wash out little bloodstains.

1. Blot the stain as much as possible. Place a paper towel underneath and on top of the stain to soak in the excess blood.
2. Fill a large dish or bucket with warm water, add some mild dish soap and stir.
3. Drop the coat into the water and let it soak for 2 or 3 hours minimum.
4. Drain the water and leave the coat in the container. Add more water, then add a few drops of detergent and a cup of hydrogen peroxide. Leave it to soak overnight, then wash normally.

Oily Stains 🎨

1. Layout the coat with the stain facing upwards.
2. Sprinkle the stain with a generous layer of baking soda. Leave the baking to absorb excess grease and oil for 45-60 minutes.
3. Remove the baking soda in the sink.
4. Lay your coat out flat again. Pour a generous amount of mild dish soap on the surface of the coat. Wait 5-10 minutes.
5. Without rinsing, drop the coat in the washing machine. Use warm water and a little borax or hydrogen peroxide in addition to your usual detergent.
